Requirements, payment methods, supporting documents
- Every traveller needs a visa to enter Madagascar, regardless of
- Tourism visa applicant residing in the U.S.A., regardless of the nationality, may apply for a visa either at the Embassy or upon arrival at any international airport / port in Madagascar.
- Processing time: 7 business days. You are advised to apply at least fifteen (15) days before your trip.
- Visa fee payment methods
- Cash, certified check or money order made payable to "The Embassy of Madagascar".
- No personnal check.
- Supporting documents
- With the exception of the passport, vaccination certificate and airline ticket, all other supporting documents will not be returned to the applicant.
The visa will be issued only when the application is completed and signed, and all supporting documents are received.
- Mail application: please provide a prepaid self-addressed envelope (USPS priority mail, UPS, FedEx or DHL). It will be used to send the passport back to the applicant.
